Seedball Poppy Tube

Description

A wee tube bursting with common poppy seeds. A bright red flowering annual – this hugely popular native wildflower is fantastic for pollinators and garden birds and a stunning addition to any wildflower garden. Poppies are also a big favourite of ours for window boxes or for other small growing spaces.

Each ball contains around 100 seeds, and each tin will provide coverage for 1 square metre in a garden, or 3-5 medium sized pots. Best scattered in the Spring or Autumn.

Created by conservation scientists and 100% British made, Seedball is a unique innovation to help more people grow bee and butterfly-friendly wildflowers. Manufactured in-house using a mixture of UK-native seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder to create a protective casing against seed predators (e.g. birds and ants). They’re incredibly easy to use - scatter (no digging!) on top of soil, and with rain and warm sun the seeds will grow.

A great gift for non-expert gardeners, and people who are keen to support their back-garden wildlife. It’s also ideal for people with limited mobility as well as offering a fun educational tool for children learning about nature.
