Alexander Mayer set up Azeti in 2007, inspired by the products of the small artisan shops he had encountered while travelling through India. Azeti began with aluminum and enamel bowls, which proved hugely popular. Since then, the company has expanded its range, importing a variety of weird and wonderful items from around the globe.
Azeti is a family-run business which prides itself on its sense of social and ethical responsibility, and its commitment to the principles of fair trade. The company is a member of BAFTS, the British Association of Fair Trade Shops and Suppliers, and is therefore a member of the WFTO, the World Fair Trade Organisation.
Each item is made from highly polished recycled aluminum and enamel, and represents an intelligent yet uncompromising marriage between pragmatism and aesthetics. Among them you’ll find the bowls and dishes which got it all started. They come in a range of different shapes and colours to suit all tastes and occasions. Also, you’ll find other curiosities, such as candle and tealight holders, coasters, and more elaborate party pieces.
The items here are both practical and functional, as well as being things of great beauty in their own right. If you’re looking for a wedding or housewarming gift, then any of the items you find here would be eminently suitable. Take a look and see!
