Delivery Details

Our reward to you for shopping at our site is free delivery throughout the UK on all orders over £10.00,and free gift wrapping, if you'd like!

Our team at The Square Peg are expert wrappers so you can be sure that your gift will be beautifully and efficiently packaged, regardless of whether or not you choose to have it gift wrapped!  And because we're an eco friendly lot, we try to use recycled packaging wherever possible, so your conscience is clear and your order will arrive in one piece!

All orders received before 1pm Monday to Friday, and before noon on Saturdays will be dispatched same day. Orders placed on Sundays or bank holidays will be dispatched the next working day.

 

Standard UK Delivery (3 - 5 working days)

Standard Free Delivery is Royal Mail 2nd Class, which Royal Mail aim to have delivered 3 working days after posting.*  Please, however, allow up to 5 days from the date of your order.

 

Ist Class Delivery (1 - 2 working days)

You may choose to have your items delivered a little faster by selecting the 1st Class postage option which is £4.95. Royal Mail aim to have all 1st Class post delivered 1 working day after posting.*

Please, however, allow 2 working days from the date of your order*

*These are the times that Royal Mail aim to have your order delivered in. We can't guarantee that your order will arrive within these times, so if time is not on your side then our Special Delivery option might be a better choice:

 

Special Delivery (next day*)

If you want to make sure your goods arrive within 48 hours, we do have a Special Delivery option.

If you choose this option, goods are sent Royal Mail Special Delivery at a charge of £8.99. All Special Delivery orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday and before Noon on Saturday will be dispatched the same day, and should be with you by 1pm the following working day.*

*Applies to most of the UK. Royal Mail delivery times to some parts of the UK vary.  Please check your location on the Royal Mail Website

 

Delivery Outside of the UK

Standard delivery to most European countries takes 3 – 7 working days, and the rest of the world takes 4 - 10 working days.

If you live outwith the UK, or wish to send gifts outwith the UK, please Contact Us with the details of what it is you wish to send and where to and we will advise of the shipping charge.

 

Alternative Address

Provide us with the address of the recipient, and your chosen gift will go directly to them, and the reciept will come directly to you. Easy! 

We can also wrap your items if they are a gift and attach a gift tag with your personal message.

Returns

The following policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer

If you don’t like it you don’t have to keep it!

Sometimes things can go wrong, Your gift may have been damaged in transit, or you may just not like what you see when it arrives, if this happens it's OK, just send it back. If anything you have ordered does not live up to your expectations simply let us know within 14 days of receipt and return it to us in a saleable condition within 30 days and we will replace or refund the item.


What to do

If, for any reason, you are not completely happy with your purchase, ,simply drop us an email within 14 days of receipt. If you do not notify is within this period we will be unable to refund or replace the goods.

You have 30 days in which to return any goods.  You should return the goods in their original packaging, whenever possible.  (If you no longer have this, please use something equivalent to avoid damage/further damage to the goods!) 

Fill out the returns form on the back of your receipt, and pop it in the parcel with the returns.

If  the goods you have received are faulty or they are not as we have described them, we will provide you with a FREEPOST address for your returns.  Unfortunately, if you have simply changed your mind or made an error when ordering, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods.

As soon as we recieve your package back at HQ, we will send out your replacement or process your refund.

Please Note: We are unable to refund or exchange items for personal use (for example earrings or tweezers), or foodstuffs and confectionery unless there is a manufacturing fault.

* Statutory Rights: The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulation 2000 states that all customers have the right to cancel their contract within seven working days, from the day after the delivery date of the goods.
